About Terengganu....

Terengganu (formerly spelled Trengganu)is situated in east coast of Peninsular Malaysia.

The major attractions in the state include: The capital, Kuala Terengganu, Pasar Payang, Floating Mosque, Crystal Mosque, Terengganu state museum and several islands such as Pulau Redang, Pulau Lang Tengah, Pulau Kapas, and Pulau Perhentian, which attract tourist and local who love dives and and snorkeling because of their perfect beaches.

Traditional pursuits such as traditional art and craft like batik, silk and songket are still very much alive.

Tourism and fishing are major industries in Terengganu. The state was famous for boat-making especially in Pulau Duyong (the host of Monsoon Cup).

The most famous local food is Keropok Lekor, which mixed of flour and pounded fish for afternoon tea. Keropok Keping (fish crackers) are made from sun-dried slices of Keropok Lekor. Keropok lekor best eaten with local chili sauce, made from dried chili, tamarind, sugar and vinegar.
